The Dallas Mavericks trail the Oklahoma City Thunder 55-56 after ending the first half on 13-6 run. Offensively, the Mavs couldn't get into a groove, as teammates became spectators to Nowitzki's 42-point performance. Tonight, however, Caron Butler took the initiative with six early points and getting to the basket often on his way to a 15-point first half. Nowitzki went into the half with 11 points, a relief considering Nowitzki had almost half of the Mavs 88 points with 42 against Detroit last night. The challenge will be to stay aggressive and keep the tempo up against a young, explosive Thunder team that loves to get up and down the court in a hurry.
