The Dallas Mavericks are playing uninspired basketball after dreadful start against the Chicago Bulls on Friday evening at the American Airlines Center.

The Bulls are leading 19-13 led by forward Taj Gibson with eight points and point guard Derrick Rose in a close second with seven points.

Dirk Nowitzki had 10 of the Mavs 13 points in the first quarter and someone else needs to step up before the Bulls run away with this game.

Dallas shot just 29 percent from the floor to Chicago's 42 percent and of the players set to start the second half, Nowitzki is the only Maverick to score a bucket.
