The Dallas Cowboys offense had serious issues during a busy preseason that had the team constantly traveling. The Cowboys offensive line looked completely out of synch as Cowboys quarterbackwas running for dear life on every snap. The Cowboys tried to adjust to the offensive line issues by having Romo throw quick, short passes, and although his numbers look good at the half, 18-for-25 and 131 yards, the Cowboys have failed to put any points on the board. Cowboys offensive coordinator, Jason Garrett called two consecutive quick passes to rookie wideout Dez Bryant that resulted in a dismal one yard. Kicker David Buehler had a chance to put the Cowboys on the board but missed a 34-yard field goal wide right. In what NBC analyst Rodney Harrison called the "dumbest play I've ever seen," Romo hit running back Tashard Choice with a pitch in the closing seconds of the half that turned into a Redskins touchdown off a Choice fumble. NBC sideline reporter Andrea Kremer caught up with Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips before the second half who was furious about the Choice fumble. "With four seconds to go, you just get down with the football," Pillips said. The Cowboys find themselves in a 10-0 hole going into the half and the Redskins will receive the ball to start the third quarter.
